You have lost me here George. This message was just too cryptic. Firstly
I presumed it was addressed to me. I then had to do a fair amount of guess
work as to the position which lies beneath your posts- though of course you
have posted on this in the past.
So I do not think anything I write could ever be 'satisfactory' in your
terms, basically because I think the IRA have a moral right to take up arms
against British Imperialism. What that has to do with the American police
is beyond my humble wits. Defending the right of the IRA to bear and retain
arms does mean that I think the NYPD should be armed.
The bit about the Irish police having arms and the IRA lost me again I am
afraid. You need to be more specific comrade. BTW I thought Dave's post
on this was excellent. I still await Phil.
