So why don't you say to your protesting students that education should be
free, period. From pre-school to PHD.

Phil, it sounds like you are worrying about the source of funds for your
future professorship, how will that be paid for if tuition is decreased?
It's not only the middle class and labor aristocrats that can be infected
by narrow self-interest!
Or are you only toiling in the groves of academe to rest up for job in a
garment shop?
