Earlier in this century, Gordon Childe posited the
idea that the material measure of the progressiveness
of a social system was the mass of population it would
be able to sustain. The shift back to capitalism is
carrying the fSU to a demographic catastrophe.
Capitalism simply can not hold people alive. A tough
way to learn the worthiness of the most degraded
versions of socialism.
