To use the term 'genocide', which means the extermination or attempted
extermination of an entire people, in this instance is incorrect.
However much we condemn the policies of the US government and its
minions as inhumane, I do not think that they are intending to wipe out
the population of Yugoslavia. Likewise, I think it was wrong to use the
term, as some have, in relation to the treatment of Albanians in Kosovo,
or in relation to the East Timorese, however bad their experiences were.

I do not think that any of these cases can compare with the real case of
genocide that the Nazis carried out against the Jews in the Second World
War.
