"American Beauty"
I know that the corporate Hollywood film industry is hardly the place to
expect a movie that critiques Capitalism. However I would say that "American
Beauty", starring Kevin Spacey does quite a good job.
It explores the fakeness and instablity of suburban life, the fragility of
ones livelyhood and how people need to never be human in order that they
become successful.
I'm sure someone else can write a much better review than I ever could--so I
invite you to view this film in a Marxist context....
