socialism in New York State..an inquiry

Kevin,
Thank you so much for writing back.  actually, my professor said that we had
to write about socialist parties in NY such as the "hudderites", the "aurora
phalanx", and the "skinny atlas".  I honestly don't even have the slightest
clue how these words are spelled, that is just how they sounded.  I have
looked everywhere for anything even close to those words, but I can't find
anything.  Can you help me?!?!  I appreciate the information that you gave
me.  It will help in the comparing of the older parties to the parties of
today.  Also, my boyfriend is very interested in stating a political party
of his own that is very similar to your party.  Is there any information you
could give me on how to go about doing so?  I appreciate you taking the time
to respond very much.
