Louis: What are you baffled by? Is this a big surprise? What did you
expect? A cyberversion of Socialist Register? Please, Chris, you can do
better than this.

We certainly don't need to make any changes to M1. It will be headed for
the septic tank before too long. With M-I, this would be a huge mistake.
Some ideas can't be contained in some arbitrary number of bytes. On the
other hand, if you are talking about volume control as on my preamplifier,
I think you have something there. Unless people are willing to speak in a
moderate tone, then they should get the boot. That type of volume control
I am for.
