Louis: Also, for what it's worth, Paul Zarembka of the Buffalo chapter is
no factory worker. He is in the economics department of the University
of Buffalo and editor of Research in Political Economy, a rather dense
theoretical journal that makes "Rethinking Marxism" read like Rolling
Stone.

I reviewed a submission to the journal about a year ago on "Political
Ideas and the Practical Search for Democracy in Nicaragua" about a year
ago. I told Paul to ixnay it since there too many references to Karl
Mannheim and not enough to land distribution statistics. Paul was on the
list about a year ago and left in the great exodus of academics away from
this Sodom and Gomorrah.
