Hitler- Stalin Pact

Hugh is far more accurate on this debate with Adolfo on the nature of the period
and the 1939 hitler/stalin  pact.
Some of the actual copies of the pact were found in the  Berlin
reichschancellery
by allied troops in 1945. Maybe more will come from opening the Russian
archives.

The pact was  as political as well as economic, marxists won't separate the
relation between the two.  That always leads to playing fast and loose with the
truth.

There were other less known codicils than those items mentioned by Hugh.
a) Russia agrees to hand over 114 'wanted" German communists that had fled
to Moscow. The Gestapo  wanted to "talk" to them. No problem for Stalin.
b) Russia gets to carve up Poland with the Reich, 60% for the Reich, 40% for
Russia.
c) russia gets a chunk of Rumania--Bessarabia
d) Russia will supply the Reich with grain and oil supplies
e) the Reich will deliver military and industrial technology to Russia

Clearly this was an imperialist  spheres of influence "deal' that had nothing to
do with Marxism . The 1939 pact was about  as "proletarian" as  the
Munich Pact  whereby imperalists Britain/France  handed over to the Reich
most of industrial and defense zones of Czechoslovakia.

also Adolfo, if Stalins regime  was battening down the hatches for ' high noon"
immanent war with the Reich, why did stalin and co. have many of their best
tactical and strategic commanders and  other officers shot or imprisoned?
Then why also in June 22, 1941, was Russia caught with their pants down
when the Nazi imperialist s did attack? It 's hard to believe that the Russian
regime did not see the Reich and its satellites mass troop and armour and air
deployments near the USSR borders. 4,000, 000 men , 2,000 tanks, 3,000
planes!!!!
and Stalin was the one who said 'paper can stand anything thats written on
it'. That goes double for the 1939 Pact  between rival imperialists !!!
