Thanks to Zeynep and Jim
The two answers to my inquiry about conditions in Turkey by Zeynep
and Jim Kane were well written and of the highest caliber. My thanks to
them. I only have one more request, could you discuss the amount of people
in Turkey who are influenced by the various communist parties and also
discuss more about the economic and political situations faced by Turkish
citizens in different areas of the country, and in different industries.
Also talk more about Turkish imperialism; I would like to know more about
Turkish-US military alliances in the post-cold war era. Isn't Turkey now
becoming friendly with Israel again? Also what are the major Turkish
countries and interests, and how are they politically backed by the state.
What interests groups command the paramilitary, specifically what
industries and people. How do the bourgeois parties in Turkey vary, and
are they supported by very many working people? Are many of the youth
cynical about bourgeois politics? Is there a growing youth communist
movement, or is there a fascist one like in Germany?
These are many questions to respond to, but I feel I'll get a much
better and more accurate idea of the situation in Turkey with the answers
to them; or at least a good starting point for individual research.
