Re: Title of biog. of El. Marx?
I had never heard of this biography of Eleanor Marx. She has always
interested me just on the basis of the very little I do know of her.
Is it still in print? Could you provide the exact title? Carrol Cox
Jon Flanders:
I think it is a great book. It must be the definitive biography....the only
one? Clearly Eleanor was one of the greatest marxists after Engels, not in the
theoretical sense, but in the activist and propagandist area.
. Eleanor Marx, by Yvonne Kapp, published in the United States by Pantheon
Books, division of Random House, 1976. LC HD8383.7.A93K36 1977
If I have time, I will post a couple excerpts to give a flavor of the book. I
don't know if it is still in print. My qualitiy paperback is falling apart,
currently being held together by a rubber band.
