Was Iran lost to imperialism? Hardly!  The fall of Nicaragua? There was
certainly a question of dual power but not a fall....

The Americans might have lost their shah. However replacing it with a
anti-American pro imperialist Mullah goverment is hardly a great loss. In
fact for elementry bougeois rights for women its was certainly a great
loss..The shah had a better position on women then the Mullahs..

OK, I understand this. My language at present is Sweenglish! The problem
here is that i do a lot of reading. I just don,t agree with what i read...

You should! Because i bet their are leftists in Turkey who certainly see
Islam as a potential "anti-imperialist" force and are prepared to block with
these people...
