Re: Update with Robert

Actually this stuff should not be taken to personal. The Stalinists have a
tradition of being thugs when dealing with a Leninist opposition. It goes
back to the days when Trotsky was in exile and continues even today. However
there is a difference. The Stalinists no longer have state power in the
former Soviet Union and are faced with counter revolution. The best of them
will have to chose and out of this perhaps there will develop a real
revolutionary regroupment internationally around a program for proletarian
revolution..And in fact there are a lot of places in the world where Adolfos
antics if put into practice will omly give him a hard learned lesson in
workers democracy..

Actually Aldolfo and the mantras was basically Aldolfo realising that he
lost an important battle. The question of using people facing deportation as
a fractional instrument, he was forced to back down.. The mantras was a
reaction to his political impodence in dealing with this question partially..

Actually that is determined by the character of the people on the list. If
they are prepared to allow this kind of activity which endangers a persons
life that is their problem. I went on record in saying that revolutionaries
and leftists in general must be prepared to draw a line even on Internet.
That line goes along open cop provacations like the one against Louis Godena
recently. And Aldolfo openly endangering people facing deportation..

Yes it is!

Actually most of my post are replys to people attacking my positions.
However i notice that no one appears to critise the enormous amount of posts
>from the maoist wars..So i see this as more of a fractional tool by the
opposition who prefer to whine then discuss politics..Actually it seems as
if we are getting a second wave of the ivory tower syndrom.

Yes there are different opinions and the point is to discuss these differences..
Thanks for the advice about my handle. However i am still in exile despite
being on this list. It has nothing to do with Internet or lists but
reality...And once again the spelling. Try living 24 years in exile. No
english, no swedish but something in between called Swenglish on top of and
8th grade education. This is not whining but a fact. That can,t be changed.
So i,m afraid that people will just have to accept that Malecki spells
things wrong at times...Or are poorly educated people unwelcome on this
marxism list?

>Doug gave you feedback by pointing to the speed of your

At this point my position on Doug is that of a liberal who can count posts
and at times throw in some economic articles beside his whining about
malecki. If he says something here more political i will try to address it.
However at this point his posts appear to comment his view of participants
on this list which i don,t really give a shit about..

>Everyone is free to post here, but no one has to be read.

Exactly. However one has to take his chances like all the rest. I assume
that there are people who push the delete button on many different people
for different reasons.. That is there choice. However it is a stupid choice
because discussing and lots of flak will be the only way of sorting things
out. By avoiding this fact by pushing the delete button is basicall
stupid..Including Rolf and Aldolfo. Only by confronting people politically
can we find clarity.

>If people get into the habit of deleting your posts automatically
>they may not stand up for you when it is politically important.

If people want to delete my posts fine. What am i surpose to do cry. This is
life on the list.

>You will compete for people's serious attention with fewer posts

>There may be issues about campaigns against deportation. etc.

No, actually Jon basically claimed this himself. Not the bureaucrat part but
his work and not having time to read and stuff. But his intervention here
has been organisational rather then political as i see it. And as far as the
advice on drawing attention i suggest that you keep it for your self.

And finally i,m not anti intellectual. In fact some of the leaders will be
great intellectuals in the future International. What i,m against is
intellectuals that use there smarts in an anti working class manner. Thus
throwing up smoke screens which prevent us from finding a way forward. And i
stand for my critisism of the post war left including the Trotskyists who
have basically been on the campuses
etc...

Warm regards
malecki
