Re: 1/5 Why do I think Chris is a cop?
Hello, Doug H.,
You wrote:

I do think that what I wrote (including all those quotes I
put together) has some use, in that the future postings of
Chris B. now can be looked at as what they (most probably,
I'd say) are, those of a cop. This means that people can
utilize them for some indirect information, I believe. And
I also thought it was of interest, on principle, to show
how you can detect cops on such discussion lists as this one.
So I'm hoping that this thing has some longer-term use.
OK, perhaps I needn't have employed quite so many kilobytes.
Now when I'm writing to you anyway, I'd like to tell you,
firstly, that I (for Chris' sake, so to speak) haven't found
the time yet to reply to your last reply to me, several days
ago, on the "green" warfare matter. Your argumentation in it
touched on some important things. I do intend to answer that,
only later.
Secondly, as you've seen in my postings, I've been vacillating
on whether (as one microbe to another) to "stick a label"
of "ultra-ractionary" on you. In my last posting I did stick
it on. Now I want to remove it. This entails a little bit of
self-criticism. Such a "label" is/was not very useful under
the circumstances - whether or not it was correct is not that
important and it in this case, I think, serves to deflect
>from those issues we've been dicsussing and which I hold are
really important.
In the case of "Quispe", for instance, and in that of Chris B.,
too, the question of label is quite another one.
Your views on the question of "green" warfare are ultra-
reactionary, this IMO is the more relevant thing in this
connection. Now it's also the case that the "official"
propaganda for such views is quite massive, both in Sweden
and in the USA, and I also have been sitting down at a table
in several sessions with people whose ideological setup perhaps
was something similar to yours, preparing for anti-nazi actions
1992-94. With those, I could unite on this thing of common interest.
Had I started discussing those subjects with them that I've
discussed with you, it's quite possible that the same conflict
would have arisen as between us two. Your calling me (in reply)
"moron" is something I don't particularly resent. Frank and
open exchanges (as the diplomats say) are often rewarding.
In general I believe in discussion and "yap-yap-yap" (well
not with the "Quispe" gang, at this point, and similar people)
as better than silence. As I said, I'll be back with a reply to you.
