Inconvenient, hell. I am well aware that this "phenomenon," as you so
delicately put it, is a political one that goes well beyond any individual.
Otherwise, I really wouldn't give a damn, since Stalin (as many have
unfortunately failed to notice) is dead. This political phenomenon is what
will get us if the capitalists don't. That fact is the only reason
Stalinism (or "Stalinism") is still worth discussing. Unlike some Trots on
this list, however, I don't contend that Stalinism is the sole thing that
has prevented and still prevents the Great Proletarian Wind from rising and
sweeping capitalism and all other badness away.

But let's not fight. Time enough for you to put an ice-pick in my skull
after the revolution.
