Financial accusations

In the international solidarity work, we see the dirty work of
charlatan Olaechea, hooked full time to the Internet, and for
years spying and infiltrating the work of the PCP activists
abroad, trafficking and embezzling thousand of dollars for his
personal Benefit with his "Olaechea fighting fund" for political
prisoners in Peru, however, he has never sent a cent to the
prisoners.

I have tried to warn several times against flames wars
spreading to financial accusations. I disapproved
of the way Louis Godena accused New Flag of using its
donations.

Can Marcelina justify the accusations above?

Unless she is very sure of her grounds, I do not think they
are in the interests of her or of New Flag however much she
may think she is right in hating Adolfo.

It is not in the interests of democracy and the anti-capitalist,
let alone the socialist cause, that there is encouragement
for fraud investigators to take away all documentation from
the New Flag office in New York or the Red Star Publications
office in London.

At the same time everyone better beware. If you post on an
open l'st like this, and enjoy flame wars and are in an organis-
ation, how good is your accounting? Could Adolfo confidently
demonstrate that he did send funds to aid political prisoners
in Peru?

I can well believe that Adolfo is capable of acting arrogantly
and refuse to submit to accountability, to those he regards
as his intellectual pygmies.

It seems that
New Flag have access to criticisms from members of the Sol-Peru
London Committee who parted with him. I could believe that
things may boil down to claims as to whether he drew on
funds to finance a solidarity trip to Belgium, or something
of this order. But does Marcelina really have evidence
for these serious and legally slanderous allegation?

I would ask her and Luis to think 10 times before replying.
Please could people have a strong bias to concentrate on the
political contradictions, which are now becoming clearer
through all the din and smoke?
