In the interests of anticipating flamewars proactively,
it occurs to me I should try to meet Rolf half way

I therefore confess I am a cop,

in the sense in

which the British bobby issues the traditional caution:


" I must warn you that anything you say, may be
taken down, and used in evidence against you."
