Re: LABOUR ARISTOCRACY
Come off it, jc. I'm sick and tired of Marxists who always think they know
what someone else REALLY thinks. Karl C says Louis is REALLY an opportunist
and someone else said he was REALLY a Menshevik, and now I REALLY believe
in the labor aristocracy idea. Much easier to play the psychologist than
try to actually deal with my arguments.
A single example will suffice to the point, jc. The ordinary Joe blow
American uses twice as much energy as the average European and 60 times as
much as the average Indian. Sure, the rich use a little more, but the
levels of consumption among the ordinary middle class are such that the
world could not possibly sustain such consumption worldwide. And don't tell
me you think advertising is responsible for all of it.
