Sorry Louis.

I just can't help the odd polemical aside.
I wasn't sidestepping the issue, so much as moving on from it.

We've been around and around on the subject of party organisation,
so I didn't want to start it again.

It's just that the discussion centres on the real Leninist tradition, so
I thought I'd look at exactly what this tradition was, although
I did deliberately choose ground where my argument would seem stronger -
but that's not unreasonable, is it ?

Obviously, this is not unconnected with the other stuff.

And I also happen to think that some of the literature produced by our
tradition on the early years of the Comintern is a more or less unique
contribution to the revolutionary tradition - although I'm open to
learning about literature I'm not currently aware of. Oh, and
it's so much more interesting than Cuba [ damn, that polemical
instinct keeps coming back :-) ].

Adam.
