Rolf's polemic with Adolfo
Rolf has diligently prepared enormous documentation for his
polemic with Adolfo. Without discussing how many angels
can dance on the head of a needle (that jibe I always think
is unfair to the schlostics of the middle ages, when you think
of modern physics) he is armed with data about all the different
positions taken by all the ML organisations in 1976, on
the "gang of four".
Two observations about this potentially extensive call on bandwidth:
1. IMO it is insensitive of Rolf to think that people would want
to be drawn into a debate clarifying these questions if their
replies, or comments on their replies, might be distributed by
Rolf to all sorts of Usenet groups of which they have no knowledge.
2. Unlike Luis Quispe, I do not suspect Rolf is a police agent
because he apparently has a reputation of being associated with
controversy in many of the organisations of which he is a member, but
it is remarkable that he had now decided to put his greatest energy
into arguing on this l'st with his closest ally, Adolfo.
Rolf, even if you are right in some sense in principle, are you
right in practice?
One other request, that even if you do not respect your opponent's
arguments you argue this politically, rather than by distorting
and mocking their name, or by using epithets, such as "clone".
