Fukuyama's racism

I am sure I am not the only one to welcome the prompt and
handsome apology. My purpose in drawing attention to the misunderstanding
was in many ways to ensure that the issues did not get tangled up.

It will be a productive spat if Francis, or Rakesh or others can clarify
a more precise critique of the racism inherent in Fukuyama's remarks.
Is anyone
surprised that Fukuyama should promote such a line?
