This is probably true, but as far as I know, anarchism is a stronger
influence. The Flores Magon brothers, for example. There is also the
considerable influence of the tribal way of life of the various
"indigenous" peoples involved. It seems far too eclectic to characterize by
the term Marxism. Also, the political platform invokes civil society far
more explicitly than it does any movement of workers and/or peasants.
