Confusion abounds in yours on stalinist states collapse.

How in marxist terms can you have societies with
  historically" progressive non capitalist foundations" (ie- economic base) and
a have a counterrevolutionary political state sitting on top of this--even for 
many
decades???
Seems quite contradictory--oxymoronic too!

You also seem to be saying that you can have a political state --stalinist
type without this being the ruling class??? Also seems to
collide with the basic marxian view of the state as an instument of
CLASS rule.
