Adolfo as historian and poet

Adolfo's latest is full of goodies, too many for me to deal with just now.

One or two to be getting on with:

>Do you know Hugh what is the most impacting difference between Marx's and
>Trotsky's warning and advice to the working class? For Marx - most
>concretely in the event of the looming Paris Commune - the advice and the
>warnings to the class were A PROLOGUE to the actions of the proletariat and
>the people, and not, as in the case of Trotsky in relation to the Soviet
>revolution - and yours in relation to the Peruvian People's War - a mere
>POSTCRIPT to butress up your future credentials while in fact you are
>already sharpening your forensic "revolutionary" scalpel in anticipation of
>yet another POSTMORTEM!

To characterize Trotsky's relation to the Russian workers and the October
revolution as A MERE POSTSCRIPT reveals the most bottomless ignorance about
both the Russian workers and the October revolution in their historical
reality. You swallow Stalin's WORDS about October and Trotsky, you don't
give a toss about his ACTIONS.

>You see Hugh, Marx and Engels were MAOISTS in the full sense of the word!

This, Adolfo, is your best yet. I would give anything to see the shades of
Marx, Engels, Lenin, Rosa L, Trotsky, Stalin, Mao and Gonzalo (before his
time, but so what, he can be an observer!) having an executive meeting on
this one!! I would give even more to see the faces of Stalin, Mao and
Gonzalo as they slink out with their tails between their legs, stripped of
all their fake self-promoting idolatry.

More soon.

Cheers,

Hugh
