Re: LABOR PARTY (fwd)
David, I'm sure anyone with any sense agrees with you about the value of
groupings such as the League for a Revolutionary Party. What worries me is
not the question of whether or not to support the LP, but more specifically
what to do and how to do it. I'm not concerned about the reformism of the
people involved, since nothing else can be expected in any attempt at a
mass party. What concerns me is the feeling I'm getting that decisions are
made in an arbitrary, bureaucratic, top-down way, for example on the
question of whether the LP will be an electoral party or just a pressure
group on the Democrats. Is this or is this not the case and how can one
support the LP while fighting against this tendency, which is sure to wreck
the LP's potential if it continues?
