Most left wing bureaucrats aren't anywhere near as good as Arthur Scargill,
unfortunately. I didn't mean to give the impression that they were.

Really I mean people like Bill Morris of the T+G, who was a broad left
candidate, and who is opposed by the hard Blairite right inside the
T+G, or perhaps Rodney Bickerstaff of UNISON, who was opposed from
the right by a hard Blairite and by two left candidates. The "leftness"
of Bill Morris doesn't mean he will officially support the T+G Liverpool
dockers, and Rodney Bickerstaff's doesn't stop him saying that UNISON
won't support council worker who is disciplined for striking in support of them.

It is only the extreme left of this milieu, by and large lower down
in the bureaucracy, who are at all attracted by the SLP.

What, both the left and the right are both in the LPA ? Is the dividing line
over the issue of standing candidates against Clinton and the democrats ?
Or was this a typo ? Did you mean : "we already have evidence of conflict
between
"right" and "left" officials who are in the LPA here."
