China's Foreign Policy
Greetings to all comrades from Wei En Lin !
Regarding China's Foreign Policy, although since the revolution of 1949,
policy has not generally been governed by working class solidarity, it
has been relatively peaceful, considering China's military potential.
China did not engage in any major military action which could be called
the initiation of agression against a foreign country. Intervention in
Korea was justifiable, given US and UN intervention. Actions against
Vietnam were merely punative. (Support for Pol Pot was deplorable, but
it was not direct intervention). Tibet has historically been part of
China since the 1700's. Taiwan is definitely part of China. When
compared with the USSR and the US, China's actions have been downright
pacifistic. (Invasions of Vietnam, Countless Latin American States,
invasions of Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Afghanistan--these should have
been denounced.)
There is no such thing as Chinese imperialism during the current epoch,
at least in the gross overt military sense
Sincere Regards,
Wei En Lin
