This is a very good point. Maoist political leadership alone certainly
will never tame and control commodity exchange on a world scale.
Only Maoist military leadership can enable the proletariat to wage a
victorious people's war to OVERTHROW IMPERIALISM and establish
the dictatorship of the proletariat. Only when this is the case in a
substantial part of the world will it be able to make an impact on
commodity exchange on a world scale.

Without the dictatorship of the proletariat, you cannot substitute
non-commodity production for commodity production; you can't replace
production for exchange with production for use even in a single country.
Without people's war you can't establish the dictatorship of the proletariat,

and without Maoist political AND military leadership you can't wage a
successful people's war.

And within the dictatorship of the proletariat, without successive cultural
revolutions you can't beat back the attempts of the capitalist roaders
(who are constantly engendered by commodity production) to reinforce
commodity production and the rest of the capitalist left-overs still
existing,
and reinforce the non-commodity projects that are the seeds of the future
communist society: "from each according to their ability; to each according
to their need".
