"...Yet today the greatest challenge the People's War
faces does not come from such assaults by the enemy.
It comes from a line, or strategy for the revolution,
which emerged from within the ranks of the PCP, calling
for peace negotiations with the U.S.-backed Peruvian
government."

^^^THIS STATEMENT IS AN ABSOLUTE, OUTRIGHT LIE!^^^

To suggest, as do the RCP-USA, CoRIM, World to Win
magazine and other affiliated forces, that the greatest
danger to the People's War in Peru (and therefore to
the world revolution) is not imperialism itself, but
rather is some section of the Communist Party of Peru
(PCP), amounts to aiding and abetting imperialism in
its attempts to discredit the most correct leadership
of the world revolution, and demoralize and discourage
supporters of the People's War throughout the world.

This is not Maoism, it is "COINTELPRO" (psychological
warfare) against Maoism.  It is not proletarian inter-
nationalism, it is class treason.

There is no such line "calling for peace negotiations
with the U.S.-backed Peruvian government" that "emerged
>from within the ranks of the PCP."  The call for peace
negotiations is now and always was, a line invented and
promoted by that very U.S.-backed Peruvian government.
That line and whatever influence it may have had within
the PCP was throughly defeated *more than two years ago!*

Those who pretend to support the PCP and the People's
War it leads by promoting the lie that there is continuing
struggle within the PCP over whether to continue the
People's War or negotiate peace are promoting the interests
of the enemy, not the interests of the PCP or the people
of Peru or the world.
