I'm getting sick and tired of these "who is worst Hitler,
Stalin or Mao" things. Who is worst Reagan or Thatcher?
Who is worst Exxon or IBM? etc. ad infinitum.
Capitalism kills people, pullutes environment etc.
The equation stalinism = marxism is today just a
smokescreen of the more stupid sort from weak defenders
of capitalism.
Only a minority on the left today would defend such a
position. But it sure weakens the arguments of marxists
if they fail to see that it is capitalism *as a world
system* - state capitalist, "private" monopoly capitalist
or whatever sort - that creates these disasters.
Marxism has nothing to do with them except to get
rid of them all.
