Ranchers are not the people who are going to do it for us, comrade.
That's my point. Defending the interests of small ranchers is inevitably
going to fuel the interests of capitalists and/or economically disastrous
policies. The people who work in the natural resources sector had better
realize that they have already been dispossessed, as have we all, and they
are not going to get their land back in the form they had it. When they
realize that capital has to be socialized, not re-privatized under a cozy
blanket of reformism and false consciousness, they will be ready to join the
revolution.
