Hello all on the marxism list,

I'm a newcomer to the list. I like the atmosphere of it:
No Pope, no censorship, frank discussions (as the diplomates
say), even some marxism. Thank you again, Detroit Detcom
comrades, for telling me about this list!

By way of brief presentation, I'll mention: 1) Since 1975
I've been publishing a series of leaflets, the INFORMATIONSBLAD
series, which advocates the political line of Marx, Engels and
Mao Zedong. There have been (only) 26 leaflets in this series so
far, all of them in Swedish except for No. 24, of 12.8.94, which
contained the 8-page article in English "Why Does the RIM
Help U.S. Imperialism Encircle the PCP?".

And: 2) Starting on 23.12.95, I've been posting on the Net
a series "UNITE! / VEREINIGT EUCH! / UNISSEZ-VOUS! / !UNIOS! /
FOERENA ER! Info en/de/fr/es/se", which so far has gotten
to #7. Most of them (including #3en which reproduced the
above-mentioned article from 1994) have so far been in English,
with a few others in German. This series of course has the
same political line as my leaflet series.

I saw that Robert Malecki, who posts to this list and who
lives in Stockholm, had made a reference to a certain
"Swedish group" posting on the Net. It seems that he in
fact, at least in part, was referring to me. His posting
reminded me of that old film "Our man in Havana", where a
foreign resident, a vacuum-cleaner saleman, played by
Alec Guinness, is coerced by an intelligence service of his
country into acting as a reporter for them; he manages quite
well with the help of his imagination and eventually produces
a smashing revelation of a brand-new secret weapon which
happens to look just like a giant-size vacuum cleaner. The
posting by Robert M. was something like that; it seems he's
actually managed, although he even reads Swedish, to mix
me up with a certain pro-social-imperialism propagandist
whom I think I've refuted quite soundly and who, to put it
mildly, doesn't like me or my political orientation much
att all. Such reports from "our man in Stockholm" are best
taken with some grains of salt, I think it's best to tell you.

For now, I'll only post (separately and in two parts) an
article of mine on a recent incident here in Sweden; I've
sent it to some newsgroups, too:
