     Actually I am looking forward to Louis P.'s (no
sarcasm) analysis on the freeman and agribusiness (which
goes way beyond the cattle issue, btw).  But let us be
aware that the philosophy of the Freemen is not Soldier of
Fortune, but "Christian Identity," derived from the "British
Israelite" movement.  These people believe that Anglo-Saxons
are the descendents of the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel, who
supposedly migrated over the Caucaus from Assyria to Britain
and Northwestern Europe.  The Jews are thus a fake and along
with all other non-Anglo Saxons are descended from Satan who
slept with Eve and fathered Cain.  The leader of the Freemen,
Skandlar, claims to be from the Tribe of Dan, a Scandinavian.
The KKK has picked up on this late nineteenth century British
derived ideology.
     Sounds an awful like fascist type theories of race to me
however legitimate their populist economic grievances might be.
