India reading
Louis:
Another book I would highly recommend is "People's History of England".
The author is a CPer and a terrific historian, but I can't recall his name.
While the book is mainly a study of how capitalism developed within England,
the chapters on colonialism will give you a vivid sense of how England
underdeveloped India (in the sense of Walter Rodney's "How Europe
Underdeveloped Africa.")
