I would like to continue this discussion, but cannot process the > 100 messages
per day and get any work done. I will
probably get a separate email account in the future for the express purpose of
posting to this list. I think the question of
the validity of accusations of PCP "atrocities" is worth continuing within the
general framework of analyzing anti-Communist
propaganda. I think it is possible to prove that most anti-PCP propaganda is
motivated more by their politics than their
actions, but to me that is a less important issue than discussing their line,
strategy and tactics, exploring what is general
and particular about that struggle, etc. The larger issue of China and Maoism
I believe to be worth discussing, but I
personally lack the time to get into this discussion with the depth it deserves.

On a related note, Louis G. will not be on this list until he gets another
email account, around March 5. Please do not
attribute his absence to a loss of polemical vitality.
