Marcus, thanks for reminding me about the CLR James Library in
Hackney. I believe it was dedicated to him while he was still
aive, in the mid-late 1980s. I think I have seen some references
to the dedication from that time.
Now if you are in Australia, how did you find out about this
library? Do you know if there is a picture of James hanging on
the wall, or if they have postcards or memorabilia related to
James?
I greedily accept all information on James. Nothing is too
trivial.
BTW, I need to know if the women's center at King's Cross, London,
in which Selma James and/or the Wages for Housework people
were/are involved, still exists. I need names, titles, addresses,
e-mail, fax numbers please.
