re-peru / bibliography
re-peru bibliography
I would like to add a few items to the bibliography Louis Godena put forward:
Peru on the Brink, by Hobart A. Spalding, Monthly Review, January 1992
Peru on the Threshold: A Reply to Hobart A. Spalding, by Gary P. Leupp,
Monthly Review, March 1993
Peru Today: Still on the Brink, By Hobart A. Spalding , Monthly Review, March
1993
The three articles above present two very different views of Peru and may be
an appropriate place to begin. Perhaps we could divide up the work of
copying them and post the articles on line?
Two other books on Peru:
Peru under Garcia: An Opportunity Lost, by John Crabtree, 1992
Peru Under Fire: Human Rights and the Return to Democracy, Americas Watch,
1992
