Re: Boddhi's recommendations on verbal abuse

Mr. Mahajan,

First, there was no ethnic stereotyping in my suggestions. I was
relaying information gathered from direct observation of indigenous people.
The scatological credentials of the ethnic groups I mentioned are
unquestionable. Their contributions to the language are well, and
academically, documented.

As for your second claim, I think that this is a gauntlet you don't
want picked up. I would put English against any other language, any
time, any where, any day of the week, in any weather, with bells on.

Tell me, are you familiar with a form of repartee known as the
dozens? Well, if you are not, and continue these scurrilous and baseless;
which is to say laughable, attacks on the power of my mother tongue to
DIS, I believe that I, and perhaps Mr. Dumain (for one) will have to
acquaint you with this custom. Should such an ugly, and (for you)
demeaning eventuality come to pass, I think that you would find a
knowledge of all major languages on the Indian sub-continent, Latin,
Sanskrit, Turkic, Farsi, Azerbaijani, and the Ugaro-Finnic tongues would
provide you impotent weaponry and no quarter.

In other words, step off!

peace,

Boddhisatva

p.s. - Pity bids me otherwise, but let me ask you, out of curiousity,
what atavistic, vocabulary-impoverished dialect did you imagine (before
you woke up) could best English?
