Mr. Mayer,
You have otherwise ruined a perfectly nice post by singling out the
CP. Reasonable responses to your implicit point about the
libertarian/conservative appeal to the proletariat and their confused
rhetoric, will now be outnumbered by Roadrunner/Wyle E. Coyote exchanges of
attack and counter-attack.
You had a nice little subject, there, which you should have pursued
intellectually instead of sniping. This subject has the potential to bring
together some of the threads (like subjectivity) that are now or perennially
on the list.
