 have independent thoughts all the time, like the decision to make this
response. Gus Hall or Scott Marshall didn't just call me to tell me to do it.
I'm not a party hack. i'm a Party member. Life as a member isn't hard at all.
It is filled with comradeship, solidarity and really working to make the
world better, to bring about socialism. I'm not a political whore. The word
is activist. I have emancipated myself from the shackles of capitalist mental
slavery the miseducation system clamped on me. This is why I am a
Communist--so that this world can be free of exploitation, that those who
produce can be free from those who exploit, that there will be liberty and
justice for all one day. And, of course,m to help make that day come soon.
