Young Liberal Fascist (VIII)

The Young Liberal sometimes even becomes courageous and tries
another blast against socialism and communism, "OK, since you asked
so nicely, here's a little titbit about our current World. North
Korea (yeah, the one that Hardial Bains so eloquently praised in
his letter to Comrade Kim Jong Il) it seems has had another crop
failure and is now near or at famine levels of food supply. South
Korea agreed to send them rice in exchange for the return of two
South Korean held prisoners in the North. North Korea's rather
typically goonish response was to take the crew of the ship who
delivered the first half of the rice shipment prisoner for a week!
The second shipment was never delivered and as a result, most of
Asia is understandably now refusing to provide aid to North Korea.
Your brand of communism has done soooo much for those people. You
should feel ashamed, praising a jingoistic, dictator such as Kim
Jong Il."
This person has swallowed the entire propaganda of the
monopoly-controlled press hook, line and sinker. As a starting
point, Hardial Bains did not praise Comrade Kim Jong Il in the
manner he is suggesting. Comrade Bains followed the norm governing
these occasions and provided Comrade Kim Jong Il with full courtesy
as a fraternal comrade, and leader of the state and people of the
Democratic People's Republic of Korea. This Young Liberal, on the
other hand, throws out every norm governing human beings and
insults Comrade Kim Jong Il as a "jingoistic, dictator." It appears
that the Young Liberal knows absolutely nothing about the
Democratic People's Republic of Korea. In addition to his ignorance
he does not even express a humanitarian concern about the
catastrophe caused by the rain and floods which hit the DPRK last
year. On the contrary, he is gloating over the difficulties like a
vulgar person in the manner of a fascist who does not give a damn
about humanity at all. His anti-communism has led him to wanton
disregard for the Korean people in their moment of difficulty. The
fact of the matter is that the DPRK cares deeply about their
people, and the state will not leave them to suffer from famine in
spite of the crop failures because of floods or because of any
other difficulty.
Is socialism and communism to be blamed for natural disasters?
Is this the proof positive for which the Young Liberal is so
desperately hunting to show that socialism and communism do not
work? In Canada, when people are hit with natural disasters, even
the insurance companies exonerate themselves on occasion by using
the excuse that "it was an act of God" and that nothing can be done
about it. The victims are left to fend for themselves. The Liberals
are strengthening this regressive aspect of life in Canada through
various measures that remove the state from assuming any
responsibilities towards its citizens. The Korean state will do
everything in its power to pool their resources to see the country
through its difficulties but, as they recently said, they will not
bow down to those like the Young Liberal who, feigning concern (he
does not even do that), secretly want to use the disaster to
undermine their independence.
The World As It Is
Appearing frustrated the Young Liberal sheds all logic and
presents anti-communist hysteria in an attempt to prove that he
adheres to "facts." According to the Young Liberal: "Fact: you
praise Stalin, one of the greatest butchers in human history. Fact:
you continue the Legend of Stalin, a fabrication of momentous
proportions. Fact: you advocate the overthrow of the current
government. Fact: you advocate what I would term 'state capitalism'
(you of course would term this differently). Fact: YOU LIE!"
All these "facts" are supposed to damn us and send us to
purgatory, but actually, it has a much different effect. It sends
the Young Liberal to the bottom of the swamp from where he is
hurling this invective. The Young Liberal cannot look at the world
as it is and as it is evolving. The issue of Stalin does not even
appear in the manner the Young Liberal assumes. The name and work
of Stalin is not a matter of praise or vilification, far from it.
We have neither fabricated the "Legend of Stalin" nor are we
pursuing it. The Young Liberal and those whispering in his ear are
the ones who have fashioned this "cult of Stalin."
We are not advocating the "overthrow of the current
government" nor are we the "advocates of state capitalism." We
certainly do not lie about anything. We are extremely open-minded
to discuss and practice criticism and self-criticism as a method of
ensuring that we rectify our practice if any mistakes arise. All
these "facts" the Young Liberal has enumerated are the fabrications
and lies of himself. There is nothing even concrete about them. It
is the Young liberal who wants to continue to fabricate slanders
against Stalin and others. At the base of our thinking is the
ideology of Marxism-Leninism, something the Young Liberal does not
want to discuss. he is frightened that we will smash the
"fundamental foundations" of his arguments. Stalin is one of the
classic leaders of Marxism-Leninism, whose life and work is summed
up as an integral part of the summation of the International
Communist and Workers' Movement. In other words, we praise all
communist revolutionaries including Stalin.
