But I strongly agree that capitalism is once again headed rapidly
downhill, as I like your comparison with the Gilden Age. I'm not nieve
enough to look for revolution in the next year, but in the next few years
it will be important to get socialist alternatives to the public as there
will be support.
Even the business oriented US News ran an article this month
admitting that real wages have been dropping for decades, that the gap
between the richest and poorest Americans will continue to expand, that
the entire working class (this includes much of the middle class) will be
extremely hurt for the forseable future, and that corperations will
continue to make growing profits from these developments.
