Mr. Rosser,
Although I violently disagree with everything they think, I am
fascinated by the new (Buchanan, Gingrich) right. They are walking examples
of thesis/antithesis. Their populism and anti-government rhetoric, cannot
help but stir the alienated masses, yet their achingly obvious, filthy
reactionary moralisms, and slavish devotion to big business immediately draw
suspicion from the very people they hope to court. Watching them is like
watching some nature show. You never know what freakish products of
political evolution will drop from the trees and jump from the bushes and
attack the innocent fawn - then fall on each other in bloody combat.
