I read it too and found it sensible, although not deep. It's not as if when
white middle-class feminists started their sisterhood trip that the whole
world forgot about class and race differentiation among women and it took
some special insight to rediscover it. One problem I found was that she
almost seems to think that when describing the American social system race
is a convenient shorthand for class.
