Dear CEP,

Horray for a serious accurate article on the  decay and  near total collapse of
the capitalist reformist s in FMLN and FSLN! The reason behind why the caudillos
of these outfit s  try to rein in the toilers  mass struggles and strike a deal
with the nat'l bourgeois --and imperialism, is bcause they themselves want some
kind of utopian petty bourgeios reform left- social-domocracy as an economic
base   and they may try to pressure the ruling oligarchs and US imperialism, at
one time, in the heat of  high class combativity, using even armed struggle if
they don't get reforms and inclusion! But at a certain point they realize their
real long term class interests
and bartering power are in  persuing their professional careers, which with a
workers revolutionary state power, they might fell hemmed in and more restricted
(using a simile--reminds one of many  ex-socialist radicals here in the USA).

You are absolutly accurate on the criminal FSLN suppression of the  MLs in
imprisoning  MAP-ML militants and almost  destroying their "El Pueblo" paper +
vastly restricting the organizing  of   their  trade union center FO  and their
supression of the most  left-trotskyists  with pro-working class instincts as
well, which you mentioned.... All this while the FSLN crawls in bed with  the
"patriotic' nat'l bourgeois and the IMF and the UN!

Can you give more info on what these and other  revolutionary minded groups are
doing inside Nicaragua and El Salvador today?

 A key aspect i also think you need to deal with the economies of these Latin
American states and explain  as to  why the "Cuban  model" has failed the
toilers as as well!
