state capitalism vs. workers rule

Dear  friends,

East euopean regimes that that been in a death agony  for over a decade coll
apsed in 1989-91. These were state -capitalist regimes, very anti worker,
posing as workers rule to deceive the working masses. The political state rigged
up  some  Social welfare state reforms, provided some housing for workers
(barracks style), health care ("managed care" style -level thru the state and
larger firms), low cost schooling (tailored to the expansion and contraction of
the   economic base.
If you can support this as some type of 'existing socialism', why not support
capitalist Britain , Sweden, France,Holland or even Israel as some kind of
socialism --well the social democrats and left liberals make a career  doing
just that .  Marxist Revisionists and  most of the trots prefer the eastern syle
of capitalism as it has more state ownership.

Marxists recognize that all these states East and West, are based on capitalist
social relations, exploitation of  wage labor, separation of workers from real
socialization and direct control of production, continued  commodity production,
the market, necessities to show high profits and to compete , not just
nationally or regionally, bust also the force of the world market makes itself
felt.

If the E European state-cap regimes and ex-USSR were really "workers states' or
"existing socialism' as was fraudulently promoted to workers for decades, then
why didn't the workers rise up ex-masse to defend thier state power and economy
from the open pro- western style capitalist elements???!! They would never let
the free marketeer types sieze power without a civil war type situation arising.
To not deal with these obvious facts is just hiding from reality, takind a road
of deep idealism and abandoning scientific materialism in analysis and history.

I am not a trotsky person but i have to admit the LRP book is good -and must
reading for serious marxists!

The soc-dems , stalinos  and most trots totally cover up for the E.. European
regimes, China, Vietnam, Cuba etc. and most all of their crimes against the
workers. Their collapse really causes some mixed feelings amongst Western
imperialists and their propaganda lackeys too as no longer will they be able  to
daily scare the living shit out of workers by telling them "So you  question our
plutocracy and  democracy  exploitation here! Look at your socialism in E.
Europe--Barf bags anyone Just get back to work, or if you don't have any job, be
happy to live in a free country, blah, blah blah.". Like many leftists and
ex-leftists  , the capitalists here want the workers to think the the East bloc
was socialist too! Each for their own purposes. Marxists  who support and
promote state cap. as socialism  or workers states play right into the W.
capitalists hands, they also underestimate the latent potential of a militant,
class conscious, combative  working class on a world scale !
Still the gravediggers of capitalism!
