To Uncle Lou:
I already noted that computers can be and are used
for supplying input to investment decisions. But nobody
is going to let a computer make the final decision on a
capital investment decision. This is what is the goal
of the Cockshott-Cottrill automated planning system. The
computer should be able to do the whole thing, once properly
set up and hooked into the right data input systems.
As Doug Henwood and Peter Burns noted, and as was
noted in the earlier discussions on pen-l, there remain
serious questions about the nature and sources of those data
inputs.
