Mr. Brown,
I'll get back, perhaps to the "green" issue of the anti-car folks
later. You've caught my eye with that mention of the use (by women) of
nakedness in protests. Does anyone have any idea how much this tactic has
been used? I like the symbolism of nakedness in civil disobedience.
If any of the grad students from Yale are on the list, i think you've
got a tactic here for spring '96. Judicious use of nakedness is sure to
disrupt the flow of undergraduate education, and at the same time win the
enthusiastic support of the undergraduates. I know I nearly failed an
organic chemistry lab just because a few women came there directly from
modern dance class.
A few confident TA's, a few (otherwise) boring classes - you won't
have to refuse to turn in grades, there won't be any to turn in.
In case you think I'm being prurient, I'm completely serious. You
union members should keep it in mind for your next strike, too.
peace
p.s. - It goes without saying that I'm talking about both genders.
