"Critical Psychology"

The individual should do most obligingly what is set out by the authorities
of society. (Then this develops his potential for the best.)
Politically, the Party is always right!( The question of its inner democracy
does not belong here.)

- roughly right?

Well then, this would appear to be all too simple.
It is not just self-evidently wrong: it would
appear to deny altogether the very possibility of a contradiction
between the individual and society.

Subject: Kritische Psychologie: Individuum & Gesellschaft

Chris asked, how does Holzkamp, the master of the Krtische Psychologie
(Critical Psychology) handle the contradiction between the individual and
his/her social context?

I'll give a short answer, how the Kritische Psychologie looks upon this
question: Das Individuum soll gefaelligst tun, was ihm von den
gesellschaftlichen Instanzen aufgeben wird. (Dann entwickelt es seine
Potentiale am besten.) Politisch: Die Partei hat immer Recht! (Die Frage
ihrer inneren Demokratie geh=F6rt nicht hierher).
There is no contradiction between the individual and his/her social
context, if the individual accepts, what society oders her/him to do. The
partie is always rigth.
Best matrial to this point: Klaus Holzkamp: Individuum und Organisation.
(Volksuni 1980) Ute Holzkamp-Osterkamp: Motivationsforschung. 2 B=E4nde.
