Mr. Perrone,
If the "progressive change in the labor movement would come from
below," why not outside as well? What is the problem with infusing the
necessarily practically minded labor movement with a little of the "old time
religion" from the ideologically minded? It seems obvious that the
beleagured rank and filer could do with hearing a message of admiration and
inspiration, instead of caution or contempt.
Why not bring in people who have that message ready-made?
